How to watch Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch live: Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 at IFA

This week Samsung will announce the smartphone and this is where you can watch a live video stream of the at IFA event.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most hotly anticipated of the year, along with the , and the wait for it is almost over. Ok, Samsung hasn't outwardly confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy Note 4 but it's not too hard to work out from the many hints.

Samsung's invite (below) for the event pointed towards a new Galaxy Note 4 with the words "Note the date", plus there have been there have also been various teaser videos and an Unpacked trailer (above) posted online under the heading "Ready to Note".

Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 will take place at , one of the big technology shows on the calendar. It's in Berlin and will kick-off at 3pm local time which is 2pm in the UK on 3 September. However, there will also be simultaneous events in New York and Beijing.

The Galaxy Note 4, like many smartphones, has been leaked over the last few months. According to the various leaks, the new smartphone will come with a 5.7in screen with a 2K resolution and including features such as a Retina scanner and a UV sensor. There are also whispers of a premium metal design and some kind of flexible display.

It would be unlike Samsung to announce just one product and although it has just confirmed the new smartwatch – which it will no doubt recap on - there are other possibilities for the show. First up is a Gear Round to rival the  and  with their circular faces.

More on the wearable front is expected with the Gear VR headset which will take on the  and Sony's Project Morpheus. It's unlikely that Samsung will announce any new tablets but we're not ruling it out. More likely, though, is another large smartphone in the form of the .
